Praise the Lord Beautiful Ones

Today’s Word: Grace, grace, and more grace. How? By submitting yourselves to God!

James 4:7-8 says this, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”

This verse in the book of James gives us three steps for obtaining grace, grace and more grace. 

  1. Submit yourself to God.
  2. Resist the devil in whatever form he appears.
  3. Come near to God.

Pretty easy, right? We didn’t think so, either. Beautiful Ones, grace is given to each believer to accomplish God’s will. It is an energizing strength that flows from the risen Christ,  operates through the Holy Spirit, and dwells within in the believer. Who is the believer? You. Me. All of us who are marked, called, and chosen by Him –those who profess him as Savior.

We are believers who are given the grace of God. Why is that important? Because we know and understand that with this grace, comes the power to resist the devil, in whatever form he appears. With God’s grace, we can assume a posture of praise and prayer–thanking the Almighty God for his present help. With His grace, we stand firm giving no place to the adversary (Ephesians 4:27). We stand firm in faith. We stand. 

By God’s grace, we stand! Let us thank Him for His gift of grace.

Blessings All You Wonderful People!

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control] – 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)

Can I share something with you? I mean really be honest? Listen very carefully: you are more than your mistakes!

You may have messed up more times than you can count, we all have. But if the only smart decision you ever made was to give your life to the Lord, you are doing great!

You were smart enough to make such a life-changing decision. Now, I want you to focus–feed your faith by focusing on what is good and not the bad. Take time to look at and celebrate what you’ve done right. Don’t just focus on how you’ve stumbled. Let joy rise in your heart. Learning to be who God called you to be is a lifelong process. Be encouraged. You are still evolving, growing and learning.

Say this with me…

I gave my life to the LORD and that makes me one smart person!

I am forgiven for every wrong decision I’ve made.

I receive God’s love, His mercy and His grace.

I am moving forward and I am made stronger and wiser from every wrong decision.

God is increasing me in wisdom and in stature.

I am increasing in favor with God and with man.

I declare and decree I have soundness of mind and the ability to make sound decisions, not fear-based, emotional, or impulsive decisions. But sound decisions that please God.

I’m not stupid! I’m not crazy! I’m not an underachiever!

I’m an overcomer through Jesus Christ!

I love God’s word and I declare I walk in His wisdom and His grace! Glory to God!

Praise the Lord All You Wonderful People!

 Today’s Word  :SUBMIT YOURSELF TO GOD !!

(James 4:7-8)  says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. 

James gives us Three steps for obtaining ‘”more grace “, verses 7-8.  

Submit yourself to God.

Resist the devil in whatever form he appears.

Come near to God. 

Thank God for his gift of Grace  Ep.3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

The grace of God, given to each believer to accomplish HIS will, is an energizing strength that flows from the risen Christ and operates through the Holy Spirit dwelling in the believer.  

Praise the Lord we can resist the devil by standing firm in faith.

1Peter 5:9 says Resist him, standing firm in the faith.

Ephesians 4:27 tells us Neither give place to the devil.

Do not give him a place in your life, resist him and stand firm in faith.

Remember You Have God’s Grace To Stand Firm In Faith!
