Pray Over Your Family | Hestina’s Jewels

Beautiful Ones, I encourage you to pray over your family.

Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life.

So today, I want to encourage you to stop and take time out to pray this over your wonderful family.

Pray that your family would have divine protection and that no harm would come to any member. Pray for their desire to dwell in the shelter of the Most High and to trust God for strength in hardship.

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1

Pray that your family would have a shield of protection against temptation, and they would always be on guard, standing firm in faith. May your family learn to stand firm on God’s promises and refute temptation with God’s word.

Be on guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

We thank you Lord for answering our prayers! We believe it. We receive it, now, in Jesus’ name!

Praise the Lord!

Yes you can. Yes you will. Yes, you are enough.

Sometimes, we need a gentle nudge or tap, a reminder, that we are forever connected to God’s love. We are made in the very image of that love—a love that is everlasting and unfailing. And as image bearers, it’s important that we speak from a place steeped in love, gentleness, acceptance and truth, not solely for others, but also for ourselves.

It’s important that we speak life, encouragement and declarations that reaffirm what we already know: God is able to do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20

Beautiful Ones, our words have power. Let’s use them to build us up, not tear us down. These seven declarations can help.

Beautiful Ones, is your heart full of cheer?

Today’s Word: Keep a cheerful heart!

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. Proverbs 17:22 (NLT)

That’s a full word right there! Beautiful Ones, we know that life, ministry, work and the hurdles that come with daily living can be challenging. But even in the midst of all of those challenges, things can also remarkably rewarding. I’ve learned that rejoicing is one of life’s greatest antidotes for worry and anxiousness. Rejoicing revives the heart and helps to carry you through stressful times.

If you suspect you might be suffering from a lack of cheer, let me encourage you to look for ways to laugh more. Laughter is underrated and often overlooked as a legitimate way to nurture our souls and fill our hearts and minds with cheer. It is one of the many facets of rejoicing and is just what the Great Physician has prescribed to improve our health and bring joy back into your lives.

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.  Psalm 118:24 (ESV)

Rejoicing is intentional, it’s a deliberate choice rooted in our refusal to allow anyone or anything to overturn it. It’s like a gentle armor for the heart that brings with it gladness and cheerfulness. It reminds us that gladness is always within our grasp. And because of that we choose to keep cheer in our heart.

I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. 19. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power. Ephesians 1:18-19 (NLT) 

I declare this prayer over you and your wonderful family…

Father, I thank you for giving your people a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. I thank you for opening the eyes of their understanding, that they might know what is the hope and plan of Your calling in their lives, the riches of Your glory , and the exceeding greatness of Your power that is available to them as they believe.

Spirit of Refreshing | Hestina’s Jewels

Praise The Lord All You Great People!

The dictionary defines refreshing as “having the power to restore freshness, vitality, or energy.”

Isn’t that just what the Father longs to do for us? To bring refreshing to our souls and spirits? To restore our empty wells filling us with energy, wisdom, faith and peace?

Acts 3:20 (ESV)  tells us that “Times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus.”

Refreshing comes from the presence of the Lord! Beautiful ones, in these times of uncertainty, pain, anguish and sheer weariness, we can be find comfort and refreshing in the presence of the Lord. You can trust Him to renew your energy, your hope and your life. Join me in the Spirit of Refreshing Confession:

My spirit has been refreshed. I thank the Lord that all displeasure is dismissed out of my life. I am a person who obeys God’s word. I have confidence in the word of God for my life.I am refreshed, strengthened, and blessed. I have a peaceful spirit.I am united with the Body of Christ. I make a covenant with my family, friends, church, and community to help them reach their destiny in life. I, thank You Sweet Lord for the spirit of refreshing.

Today’s Word: Bring Your Request to God!

Don’t be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Phil. 4:6 (CEB)  

Lord, help us to be anxiety free by bringing every concern to You in prayer. We know that when we do, Your  peace will soothe our hearts and minds. We give You all the Thanks no matter what situation We facing in life. You already working it out for us. Thank you Lord for answering our prayers.
