Faithful Servant | Hestina’s Jewels

Hello All You Great People! A faithful person knows what God has put in their heart, and even though they may feel like quitting, they don’t give up! Faithful definitions: Constant, loyal imply qualities of stability, dependability, and devotion One of the most important lessons me and you can learn is to be faithful with something until God lets us know we are finished with it. A faithful person is committed to doing whatever God tells them to do -no matter what! 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 (Amplified Bible) SO THEN, let us [apostles] be looked upon as ministering servants of Christ and stewards (trustees) of the mysteries (the secret purposes) of God. 2.Moreover, it is [essentially] required of stewards that a man should be found faithful [proving himself worthy of trust]. Blessing & Love  From My Heart To Yours!! Enjoy your Day !!!

Created to Praise | Hestina’s Jewels

Praise The Lord all you people!!!

Heb.13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of Praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to his name.

As the author here encourages us to Continually offer up a Sacrifice of Praise to God.” Praise is something that we offer to God sacrificially, not just because we feel like it, but because we believe in Him and Desire to Please Him.

We are to be captivated and filled with the greatness, goodness and grace of God. We should be like a cup: filled to the brim, always spilling over in praises to Him.

Ps.54:6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will Praise thy name, O Lord; for it is good.

Created is defined as: To cause to exist; bring into being.

The definition of praise is to: express, honor, and gratitude to God through worship, words, attitudes, and actions (expressions of love, and appreciation to God).

Today, I encourage you to have an attitude of Praise in your own private prayer time and throughout your day, by realizing that you were created to Praise the Lord. Every time you wake up and breathe you should begin to glorify Him.

You can praise God anywhere at anytime! And the more you praise, the more it will be as normal as breathing.

Psalms 150:6 says, let everything that hath breathe Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

It’s not enough just to have Praise in your heart; the word says we need to have it in our mouth as well.

  • I will bless the LORD at all times: his Praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalms 34:1
  • My tongue shall speak of God’s righteousness and of His Praise all the day long. Psalm 35:28
  • Enter into God’s gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with Praise. Psalm 100:4

When you first begin to truly praise God, it may seem awkward to you, but if you keep on Praising, it will soon become a way of life. Praise will cause the glory of God to be manifested in your life. It will cause you to walk in the light of His Countenance.

Psalms 89:15 says; Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

So you need to open up your mouth and your heart and do what God has created you to do…PRAISE HIM!

3 Keys to Mustard Seed Faith | Hestina’s Jewels

Praise The Lord Successful People!

Today’s declaration of the day is this: Keep God first, keep moving forward, and always remember that mustard seed faith, moves mountains! Faith isn’t something we’re born with. It’s something you work at everyday like a muscle. And when we continue to work the muscle, it grows stronger. The same holds true for faith. Here are 3 steps you can take to help you grow in faith.
  1. Study God’s Word
The word of God is powerful. It can cut through confusion and deception quickly, allowing you to renew your mind and strengthen your faith. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2: 15 (NKJV)
  1. Renew your mind
Have you ever seen a hamster on a wheel? It’s just running and running but not going anywhere. It’s doing the same thing and getting the same result. The mind works like that. Renewing the mind means changing the way you think so that we can determine “what is that good, pleasing and perfect will of God.” And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12: 2 (NKJV)
  1. Faith, trust and consistency are key
God recognizes your faith. God rewards your faith. Amazing things begin to happen—begin to shift—when we exercise our faith. When we begin to activate our “mustard seeds” it builds our confidence and trust in God. Faith releases the resources of heaven into our situation. And when God steps in, everything changes! Trusting God strengthens our faith and our hope in His word. Make this declaration with me:

I declare that I have faith in God.

I declare that I do ask in faith.

I declare that I will not doubt God.

I declare that my faith is growing.

I declare that I produce the fruit of faith.

I believe in my prayers and know God hears then!

Forgiving You: The Ultimate Act of Self-love

Today’s word jewel is less of a word of encouragement and more of a plea: forgive yourself.

***Take a deep breath…hold for 3 counts…and release***

For many of us, those two words hit home—hard.

We know forgiveness is necessary, not for the one who has wronged us but for our own emotional and spiritual freedoms. We know that forgiveness frees us to release hurts and offenses and embrace liberation and expansion. We know this.

And yet…

How many times have we replayed our mistakes in our minds each time beating on ourselves—harder and harder—because we should’ve known better?

How many times have we looked in the mirror and allowed hurtful words and thoughts to run amok without correction?

How many times have we allowed condemnation to block us from embracing and receiving love from others?

Much has been said on the importance of forgiving others, but many seem to skip over the concept of forgiving ourselves.

Beautiful Ones, believe it or not, it’s equally important and that we forgive ourselves with the same urgency, compassion, and hope that we use to forgive others. Unforgiveness brings with it spiritual bondage, emotional rigidity, anger, and other emotions like bitterness which often manifests as body ailments and/or unrelenting stress.

The word of God tells us that bitterness—the fruit of unforgiveness—is a means by which many are defiled.

See to it that no one falls short of God’s grace; that no root of bitterness, of resentment, springs up and causes trouble, and by it, many are defiled. Hebrews 12:15

Regardless of what we’ve done in our past, of an embarrassment we’ve suffered, or a sin we’ve committed, it’s imperative that we forgive ourselves—that we release ourselves from the shame or anger we harbor about ourselves. If God chose to forget our sins for His sake, then we ought to do the same and follow suit.

I, only I, am He who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake, And I will not remember your sins. Isaiah 43:25

Our gracious Father, the I AM, the Omnipotent One, the God who loves us unconditionally, wipes out our transgressions and refuses to remember the wrong we have done.

Why on earth would you, me, us continue to do the opposite? Why beat up ourselves for something that has already been wiped out and forgotten?

Beautiful Ones, your past does NOT define you! Your mistakes do NOT define you. You are wonderfully made and you are beautiful. Forgive yourself, learn from your mistakes, and keep moving forward.

Created for Glory | Hestina’s Jewels

Today’s Word: Isaiah 43:7 (AMP) Even everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory, whom I have formed, whom I have made.

God created you to put His goodness and truth, and beauty and wisdom, and justice on display. He made you to magnify His greatness!

Isaiah reminds us that we–you–are created for the glory of God. When we revel in His glory, when we return to Him what is due…

Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Isaiah 58:8 (AMPC)

A Woman of Wisdom | Hestina’s Jewels

Happy Mother’s Day, Woman of God!

We celebrate all the Women, Mothers and the one who ever was a mother figure in your life. Maybe you were one the motherly figures, godmother, foster parent etc.

Today I encourage you: keep on being an awesome woman and mother! Continue to apply wisdom to your life situations.

Godly wisdom is defined as, “The ability to discern or judge what is true, right; a gift from God to view life from a spiritual perspective; by applying biblical principles in all areas of life.”

I believe that Wisdom and knowledge gives us the ability to make the right choices at the right time to help cope with our everyday life situations and circumstances.

We must always keep in mind that we need inspiration and wisdom and knowledge from heaven!

Pr.4:7 tells us (NKJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

  A Woman Of Wisdom

Proverbs 31:26-28 tells us (NKJV)She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness.27 She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness.28 Her children rise up and call her blessed

In these scriptures we learn that a woman of wisdom takes good care of her children and household by addressing their physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual needs.

Things A Woman Of Wisdom Does For Her Household

  • 26 She opens her mouth with wisdom
  • 26 She has the law of kindness on her tongue
  • 27 She watches over the affairs of her household
  • 27 She does not eat the bread of idleness
  • 28 Her children rise up and call her blessed

She loves her children and family dearly and will try to be the best person she can be for their sake.

You Are A Winner!!
