(You Have The Victory!!)
Def. Victory – final and complete – is being successful against anything that stands in the way or anything that hinders. In the book of Psalms it tell us the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
Sometimes we think our loss is worse than it is. We may feel like the songwriter David, who in the confusion of the moment, thought God had forgotten him. But when David later recalled what he knew rather than what he feared, his sense of loss turned into songs of victory and praises. He wrote many of the Psalms during the dark times in his life.
Therefore they can serve as an encouragement to us when we are faced with the battles, struggles, and disappointments of life that come only to discourage and to make us want to give up on our dreams.
That is why we need to come boldly unto the throne of Grace.
Heb. 4:16 (KJV) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need
This verse opens the way for us to come boldly to the throne of grace, knowing that we will always find a “merciful God”, and He will give us the grace to help in our time of need.
Whatever we need from God is available to us, if we keep on believing and trust in Him.
Like the widow with the two coins found In Luke 21:1-4
Though she was extremely poor, she is one of the most greathearted and confident women in the Bible. She was without a husband to provide for her, but she surrendered herself to God completely, trusting and had confidence that He will act on her behalf.
Without faith to push, she would not have offered her last penny, believing God would care for her better than she could care for herself. She gave everything she had to live on.
These women made a decision to push until something happened. They had confidence and trusted God to fulfill His promises.
